Sr. System Admin
Red Hat experience is required and AIX a plus- need newest versions though, need scripting and messaging.
` Maintain highly technical inter-network of computing systems. Ensure high level of systems performance and availability. Execute system and subsystem startups, shutdowns, backups, and dumps. Investigate and respond to system-generated alerts. Identify and resolve service-level objective compliance problems.
` Develop and maintain standardized data security protection procedures.
` Develop methods of monitoring system performance, reliability, and security.
` Develop standardized troubleshooting methodologies that consistently result in timely resolution of systems issues.
` Plan, develop, and lead systems related projects.
` Discover and evaluate new cost effective technologies.
` Validate interoperability between systems and platforms.
` Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
` Mentor and support junior members of staff.
Minimum Job Requirements
` Minimum of 10 years of experience required: System Administration and at least five years` experience in system design and implementation
` Four-year degree required: Computer Science or related field

` Knowledge of Networking technologies including but not limited to TCP/IP and LAN/WAN
` Knowledge of advanced programming and scripting methodologies
` Knowledge of directory service

` Knowledge of various technologies: Internet, e-mail, storage, backup, and printing
` Knowledge of Enterprise Systems Management
` Knowledge of systems configuration, monitoring and reporting

Traditional office environment. Some travel required.
