Responsibilities include: 

– This role will be key in helping the organization stand up a new disaster recovery environment with infrastructure and application teams, business teams and our partner vendors. Meeting new people. Learning about the organization. Helping to drive this effort to completion and generally making a difference in a critical, high visibility effort.
– This is a new position as a result of our work and realizing we had a role gap that needed to be filled.

• Coordinate development and maintenance of business process technology maps which identify application to application dependencies required for Disaster Recovery planning
• Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery plans to align with business requirements
• Coordinate with application teams and partner vendors to document application recovery procedures
• Oversee Disaster Recovery activities with managed service providers including:
• DR requirements to meet RTOs and RPOs based on enterprise BIA (change management)
• Scheduling and execution of exercises including tracking, follow-up and management reporting required to resolve all gaps identified
• Lead Disaster Recovery Program coordination meetings and represent ISO BCM strategy
• Responsible for review and enhancement of DR capabilities in SaaS contracts
• Conduct analysis of data backup methodologies across the enterprise
• Develop metrics, presentations and report on the state of the Disaster Recovery Program
• Provide analysis and develop requirements for new or enhanced features of our SaaS based tool that is used to support many aspects of the Business Continuity Management program
• Identify opportunities to improve business continuity / disaster recovery business and technical processes
• Participate in audits, compliance and program maturity assessments
• Participate in other Business Continuity Planning activities as directed by the Team Lead

Qualifications
• Required
o Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Management or related field
o 8+ years of relevant experience in a Disaster Recovery Coordinator role
o 5+ years of relevant experience in planning and conducting DR exercises
o Ability to lead workshops following defined process to gather requirements
o Ability to analyze business process and system relationships
o Ability to document system relationships in Visio (provide examples)
o Present drafts, revise, achieve buyoff from owner/stakeholder groups
o Excellent workshop/meeting facilitation skills
o Flexibility in work hours to accommodate other regions
o Ability to forge relationships between multiple stakeholder groups, internal and external, to achieve results
o Ability to break down barriers to ensure work is completed on time
o Early communication of issues that may prevent achieving deadlines
o Self-starter, proactive, results oriented
o Excellent verbal/written communication, administrative, and computing skills
o Strong project management skills
o Demonstrated ability to interact with other non-technical teams
o Skilled in use the of Microsoft products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, SharePoint, Planner through O365

• Desirable
o CBCP or CBCI certifications
o Experience in Fusion Framework BCM tool
